Happy Thursday!

I have spent the entire day sitting around watching Star Trek Voyager and baking various things. So far, I have ovened a mac and cheese, some sweet potatoes, a chocolate bundt cake, and some pull apart buns. Later I will bring these items to my family’s home and we will begin our holiday tradition: the airing of the grievances!

As for football, I did a bit of a stats dive on Torreira over on The Arsenal Review. It’s very positive which may be a surprise to some of you who think I hate him, I don’t. It did help me to adjust my own expectations. I think he’s doing a better job than I may have credited him, based on this year’s data. I also don’t know how much he’s to “blame” for the really awful Big Chances against record that Arsenal currently suffer.

Anyway, you shouldn’t be reading about Arsenal today. Today is a day for eating too much food, for arguing with friends and family, and for watching American football (aka. falling asleep on the couch).

Tomorrow I’ll do a preview of the Cherries who are having a fantastic season. Or maybe I’ll just write about how much I like cherries but that I’m somewhat allergic to them and I eat them anyway.

    1. Hey Tim, belatedly, hope you had a happy Thanksgiving. Judging from your Twitter, seems to have been a far from boring one!

Did you talk Trump? And were you the outcast? 🙂

I’m in London now, and this Black Friday thing has completely taken over. Black Friday without Thanksgiving is just plain wrong.

      1. Some MAGA Bot put my account in a Follow Friday-type post and suddenly I had like 100 other MAGA bots following my account. I blocked them all.

  1. Defending is a team effort. Torreira can’t be the cure to all our defensive issues. Even last season Chelsea conceded more goals than City and United despite having Kante in front of the defense. Now if you replace Mustafi and Xhaka with better players, I’m sure the number of chances conceded will drop.
