Eduardo's back?

Arsenal first team coach Boro Primorac has been quoted as saying that Eduardo participated in some light training with the squad on  Wednesday. Don’t get too excited, yet, kids: he’s got a long way to go before he can play in a full EPL match. His touch, his nose for goals, and not to mention how he handles his first Joey Barton tackle could all take a while to heal.  But the good news is that his bones have mended and he’s out with the team again.

Here’s to continued good health and a speedy recovery.

Rosicky, on the other hand, has had yet another specialist and yet another surgery and is at least 8 more weeks out. Due to the nature of the injury and the length of his recovery so far, I remain skeptical that he will ever play for Arsenal again.

  1. True, I’m more pessimistic about Rosicky than Eduardo. Eduardo’s injury was straight-foward, if horrific. Bones heal, and once the muscles are toned and the fitness returns, he should be good as new. Rosicky’s a horror of knee ligaments and soft-tissue injuries. The guy’s a mess, and it’s probably coming to the point where we either cut him loose, or just wheel him around training to mentor our youngsters. As a first-teamer, his days are probably over. He’s 28 now I think, and he’s played 8-10 years of top fliht football already.

  3. In all the fun of the Carling Cup match, seeing old footage of Eduardo and Rosicky celebrating a goal made me happy. Then Hleb came over and ruined it for me.

  5. I really believed that if Rosicky had returned to full form we could dominate Europe. He is such an underrated player. He the Czech captain and is called “Little Mozart” for his ability to orchestrate play.
He along with Fabregas, Walcott/Nasri and whoeever in DM would be an amazing combination. I truly hope that he can return to top form.
