thank walgod it's friday

There’s really nothing going on today. Well, by nothing, I mean, The Telegraph hasClass... pure class an excellent article on the history of bad footballing hairdo’s. I can’t, for the life of me, figure out why they chose to include Freddie Ljungberg in that mix? I mean, his hairstyle wasn’t in poor taste… that was pure class. Pure class. Just look at it…

Another former Arsenal player rates the news in that Anelka has officially moved from notloB to Chelsea. Great, their collection of utter cunts is almost complete. If they could somehow sign Joey Barton, Robbie Savage, and Craig Bellamy they could actually cause a cunt maelstrom to appear over South London and suck all of the skill out of English Football. Actually, if Chelsea signs those players I’m petitioning the league to change the rules so that players wear pads like in American Football.

What else, uhhh, I’ve always liked Gilberto, as a person. His willingness to stay and fight for his position in the club should be an inspiration to all young footballers. Especially to those who get a transfer in to Arsenal from a bowl of dicks like Chelsea and then feel like they are good enough to play but then refuse to play when given the chance.

This one article in the Guardian seems to tell the whole transfer story from Jens to Gilberto to Diarra. I guess Arsenal agreed to a £5.5m transfer fee but the deal fell through when Diarra couldn’t get a salary of £18m over 4 years. OK. I’m officially tired of talking about the Diarra transfer soap opera. Good bye, little buddy! Go ahead now. Go on. Don’t let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya!

On to the personal news. I am flying out to London on the 8th of February. Which means I’ll be in London on the 9th. I’ll probably only do a few things (Camden Market, the Tate, the British museum) before the match on Monday night. But hey, if you’d like to get together for a pint or twenty-teen drop me a line. I fly out hungover on Tuesday the 12th.

Also, tomorrow, a bunch of us Seattle Arsenal fans are getting together at the George and Dragon in Seattle at 10am to watch a tape delay of the Arsenal v. Birmingham match. So, hey, come on down if you’re in the area.

Ok, there may be a match preview tomorrow, I’m not sure. I have a lot of packing to do in preparation for the big move on Sunday.

Later!
